Volunteer: Administrative: Front DeskThe Admin Front Desk Volunteer supports front desk operations by assisting with referral processing, scoring DVI questionnaires, maintaining client records, and providing basic assistance to walk-in clients. This role is essential in ensuring accurate documentation and a welcoming front desk environment. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Check in regularly with front desk staff regarding received referrals and DVI questionnaires Contact referrals and add clients to the counseling assessment waiting list Score DVI questionnaires and enter data into the New Org system Scan client ledgers and save documents to the appropriate front desk files Greet walk-in clients and assist with basic questions while they wait for front desk staff Perform other duties as assigned to support front desk operationsQualifications Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all client information Basic understanding of clerical work and data entry Working knowledge of Windows and Adobe software Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment Dependable, responsible, organized, and professional demeanorTime Commitment One designated 4-hour shift, two to three times per week Available shifts: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.Screening Requirements All volunteers are required to complete a screening process, which may include: Completion of the SafeNest Volunteer Application In-person or telephonic interview with the SafeNest Volunteer Services Director Successful completion of a required background checkTraining Requirements Admin Front Desk Volunteers must complete the following training prior to independent service: A minimum of two shadow training sessions with the Front Desk Manager Completion of SafeNest data entry system training with the IT Department HIPPA trainingProgram: Professional Service & In-Office Support The Admin Front Desk Volunteer supports front desk operations by assisting with referral processing, scoring DVI questionnaires, maintaining client records, and providing basic assistance to walk-in clients.
